Hey, I'm Amanda

I came to this work the long way around. My background is in nursing — I spent years in clinical settings, learning to read the body, ask precise questions, and take symptoms seriously. I have deep respect for conventional medicine. I also know, from watching patient after patient, that it misses something crucial: the emotional and energetic patterns that drive so much of what shows up physically. That gap is what sent me down a different path. I'm now a certified Emotion Code, Body Code, and Belief Code practitioner, a Reiki Master, and a trained somatic coach — and I've woven all of it together with the clinical rigor my nursing background instilled in me. The combination matters. When you work with me, you're not choosing between science and spirituality. Yes — and this is one of the questions I get most often. Emotion Code, Body Code, and Reiki can all be done effectively at a distance, and research into non-local healing effects supports this. The energetic field of the body isn't limited by physical proximity. I've worked with clients across multiple time zones with the same results I see in person. If it feels strange at first, that's okay — many of my most skeptical clients became my most consistent ones after experiencing their first distant session.
Think of them as three layers of the same map. The Emotion Code works specifically with trapped emotions — unresolved emotional energies stored in the body that can contribute to pain, dysfunction, and repeating patterns. The Body Code goes wider, identifying imbalances across six areas of the body system: emotional, energetic, nutritional, structural, pathogenic, and toxicity. The Belief Code is the deepest layer — it works with the subconscious belief systems that drive behavior, self-worth, and the stories we tell about what's possible. Many clients benefit from all three; where we start depends on what your body is communicating.
Therapy is valuable — I have deep respect for it, and it often works beautifully alongside what I do. The key difference is that talk therapy primarily operates at the cognitive and verbal level. It helps you understand and process your experience. The work I do operates at the energetic and somatic level — targeting the stored emotional imprints and nervous system patterns that cognitive insight alone doesn't always reach. Many of my clients have had years of meaningful therapy and still feel something unresolved in the body. That's exactly the gap this work is designed to address.
No. Skepticism is welcome here. The work doesn't require belief — it requires willingness to show up and see what happens. Some of my most effective sessions have been with clients who came in uncertain or mildly doubtful. The body responds to the work independent of the conscious mind's opinion of it. That said, if you have specific concerns or questions before booking, I encourage you to reach out — I'd rather you make an informed decision than an uncomfortable one.
If you're new to this work, the Compass Discovery Session is the natural place to start. It gives us both real information — you experience the work firsthand, and I get a clear picture of what's going on at the root level. From there, I'll share what I observed and suggest a path forward based on what your body actually needs, not a one-size-fits-all protocol. If you'd prefer to talk it through first, the free Discovery Call is a zero-commitment way to ask questions and get oriented.
Many clients notice something within the first session — a sense of lightness, a reduction in a specific tension, a shift in emotional tone. That said, how quickly you experience results depends on the depth of what we're working with, how long it's been in place, and how your body integrates the changes. Some patterns clear quickly; others have roots that require several sessions to fully address. What I can tell you is that the work is cumulative — each session builds on the last, and most clients report meaningful, lasting shifts within the first three to four sessions. I'll always be honest with you about where we are in the process.
